Privacy Policy

Vitrina is a personal wardrobe management app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

• Account information (email, name) when you sign in with Google or Apple
• Photos and details of clothing items you add to your wardrobe
• Outfits, wear history, calendar plans, and style preferences you create
• Wishlist items you save
• Color analysis results
• Approximate location (city-level) for weather suggestions — only with your permission
• Search queries you type in the app (the text, when you searched, and which result you picked) — linked to your account, kept for 30 days, then deleted
• Anonymous counts of search terms, with no link to any account — kept longer, so we know which brands and items to add to the catalog
• Usage analytics (which screens and features you use), linked to your account
• Crash, error and performance reports, which include your account ID and email so we can fix problems you run into
• Subscription status and purchase history — payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details
• A push notification token for your device, if you allow notifications

Search only needs what you are looking for. Please do not type personal information (names, phone numbers, addresses) into the search field.

How We Use It

Your data is used solely to provide the Vitrina service:

• Store and sync your wardrobe across devices
• Show weather-based outfit suggestions
• Process clothing photos with AI to detect colors, categories, and attributes
• Generate personalized style recommendations
• Find matching items for your searches and learn which brands to add to the catalog
• Improve the app and its stability through usage analytics and crash reports
• Manage your subscription and send the notifications you turned on

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

AI Processing

When you add a clothing item, the photo may be processed by AI services (Claude, Gemini, or OpenAI) to extract attributes like color, category, and style. These requests are made through our secure server proxy. AI providers do not retain your images after processing.

To remove the background or improve a clothing photo, the photo is sent through our server to Photoroom or fal.ai. They receive only the image, with no account data.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland) with encryption at rest and in transit. Images are stored in Supabase Storage with access restricted to your account only.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Firebase (Google) — push notifications (Cloud Messaging), anonymous usage events and app performance monitoring
• Sentry — crash and error reports, including your account ID and email; stored in the EU (Germany)
• PostHog — product analytics linked to your account ID, to understand how the app is used; stored in the EU. Not used for advertising or tracking across other apps
• RevenueCat — subscription management: your account ID and purchase history. Payments go through Apple or Google
• Photoroom, fal.ai — background removal and photo enhancement; receive only the clothing photo
• AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI) — image analysis via server proxy, no data retention
• Open-Meteo — weather data (no personal data shared)
• Serper (serper.dev) — receives the text of a search, with no account data, to find product images on the web
• Google — web search result thumbnails load from Google image servers
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication only

Your Rights

You can:

• Access and view all your data in the app
• Update or correct your information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings
• Request a full data export by contacting us

When you delete your account, all data (wardrobe items, photos, outfits, history, search queries) is permanently removed within 30 days. Search queries linked to your account are deleted immediately.

Children

Vitrina is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
